HEARTACHE is an album written about and through the ever winding road of grief. Our hope is that HEARTACHE might bring comfort and clarity to any listeners who are wading through the deep end of their own loss. In 2023, a year after the original release of the album, a group of Chicago filmmakers divided up the songs between them to collaboratively create a visual album.

SYNOPSIS: A deceptively simple movie about a twelve-year-old girl who gets her period for the first time at her friend's birthday party. She is ushered through this rite of passage by her friend's intimidating older sister, and the two women share a meaningful experience that subtly changes them both. It is a quiet film about growing up, anxiety, and the surprising ways we are able to be there for each other.
